Darius' testimony to the Board of Supervisors is published
below.
Hello. My name is Darius.
I realize you guys are just about finished and you are
probably tired and want to go home, but I just have a few
things to say.
I am not a father, but I am
a son of a father who is very loving and caring, and I feel
that it is unfair for children like me to be denied from
fathers. I was denied from my father for 18 years until I
was legally unbound to my mother, her custody, and I could
be with him.
And there are millions of
children in my case, and I just feel that a men's commission
of fathers' rights will help this situation and help
children to be with their fathers and both parents. Thank
you.
